Mechanism of action

Anapsos, a vegetal extract with immunomodulatory and anti-neoplastic effects, is obtained from the rhizomes of the fern Polypodium leucotomos. It promotes biosynthesis and regeneration of tissues affected by psoriasis, by acting on systemic and/or cutaneous biochemical parameters.

Therapeutic use

Psoriasis and other pathologies in which the main factor is collagen degradation. Atopic dermatitis. Disorders in which the etiology is based on deficiency of lymphocytes.

Pregnancy and lactiation implications

Unlabeled use

Anapsos (360 mg/day) improves cognitive performance, cerebral blood perfusion and brain bioelectrical activity in patients with senile dementia. These effects of anapsos were more marked in demented patients with mild mental deterioration and/or with dementia of the Alzheimer type.

Contraindications

Warnings and precautions

Should be administered before meals. Simultaneous administration with alkalis or alcohol may delay or diminish the absorption of the product. On commencing treatment with anapsos new minimum lesions may appear concomitant with an improvement in the initial lesions; treatment should not be interrupted for this reason. Product may contain lactose.
