Increases muscle blood flow. Probably has direct action on vascular smooth muscle. It is believed that mechanism of action on uterus is β-adrenergic stimulation.

Treatment of peripheral vascular diseases, such as arteriosclerosis obliterans and Raynaud’s disease.

Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to isoxsuprine or any component of the formulation. Presence of arterial bleeding. Avoid inmediate postpartum administration.
Warnings and precautions
Rash might occur. Isoxsuprine should not be administered immediately postpartum or in presence of arterial bleeding. May cause hypotension in older adults.
