Mechanism of action
Protein or electrolyte mixtures which restore/replace saliva, lubricate, moisten, and provide coating on oral mucosa.
Therapeutic use
Relief of dry mouth and throat in xerostomia or hyposalivation. Relief of symptoms associated with chemotherapy or radiation therapy-induced mucositis.
